Summer Lovin'
Once again I am finally going to post to my blog.
The summer is flying by and I'd really like it to slow down.
We are having fun visiting family and keeping busy with friends. Not enough family, but we get by.
Had some fun at the property and my favorite moments are times like this. They make me happy and looking back makes me smile.

Finally a new post...
I have been out of the blogger mode for some time now and have finally got back to it with the help of "the wise one".
Andy is doing well in school and has received his second grade card. He is learning to read now and I think I enjoy it more than he does. He seems to have a pretty good handle on math and says he wants to be a scientist. Overall kindergarten is "exhausting". He doesn't eat his lunch because he is too busy. His friends make him laugh and talk and he doesn't have enough time to eat. Those same friends make him play hard at recess which is why he is so exhausted. Too be exhausted from kindergarten again would be great!
I have started "Boot Camp" with Billy Blanks and his rubber bands. I am feeling mustles in my legs, abs and butt that I simply have forgotten. I also know why I forget them, because it is a pain in the ass to remember them!!
As I sit here and drink a Dr. Pepper and think about the McDonalds french fries that I simply love, I know I have to give them up sooner than later. I feel like I'm getting too close to my parents age with all their aches and pains. And I often hear them telling me it will catch up to me when I get their age, is their age at 65 or their age at 45? Whatever, I'm not liking it one bit!!! I also looked in the mirror this morning and saw my grandma Wilma's lip lines. I sure thought I smiled and laughed more than I pursed my lips. One never truly knows. I just sigh and get another medium french fry, make it a large.

A perfect pair
These two are a perfect match. The pup picked the boy and the boy happily accepted. We are now embarking on a new adventure where the boy will have to share some undivided attention and accept some new responsibilies. Looking forwared to a long and happy boy/dog relationship.

The "boys" are going to the property for a couple of days. I think Papa is going to meet them. The weather is suppose to be stormy part of the time but they should have fun. I hope they catch the whopper if he is still in the pond. They will leave after pre-k and get home on Thursday night. It should be a great time for "male bonding" and some personal time for me!

It feels so good when you figure something out on your own.
I finally figured out how to write text in this box. I was trying to write in the compose folder instead of the edit folder. How simple is that? I'm so happy that I even figured out this whole blogspot thing. I feel so liberated! I also like it cause I get to laugh at myself!
Thanks for all the comments so far. Isn't this fun? I'm anxious to see how the property has faired during all the rainy weather and if the fish (the big ones anyway) have managed to stay through any flooding.
We went to camp with Daddy last evening and caught a crappy with every cast. Andy and I had fun while Daddy had to work! It's so hard not having to work all hours of the day and night!! (ha, ha, hee, hee, glad it's not me)
